Clutch weights and rivets to rpm

I am wondering on clutch weight and rivets to rpm. I put a different motor in bone stock, not getting the rpms that i did with old motor.

I have 8bu weights with 2 steel rivets in them. 59 grams punched out rivets and now 49 grams. it seems like I was only getting 7900 rpm. I tried to hadjust helix, was set at 70 twist , tried 80 and 60 twist. Did not increase rpm.

How much rpm should I gain from 10 grams less weight.

I have Aaen pipes, last year I ran around 8900 rpm.

Thanks Ray

If your only getting 7900 with no rivets in a 8BU weight theres something else going on. You should be over reving at 49 grams
