Excessive bearing play 440 invader

If I shake the clutch that is connected to the shaft to chaincase the shaft moves nearly 1/16th of an inch. I assume this bearing is bad. The other issue is the shaft looks like there is a deep groove in front of the bearing. is the shaft supposed to be completely smooth or is there a machined groove for the bearing?

no way your feeling chan free play and/or sprocket teeth rocking back and fourth between chain links etc?

After I got it running you could visibly see the axle wobbling in the bearing. anyway I decided to put my efforts into the Vmax4 instead. any money I make off the Kawasaki I will probably use to buy parts and services from you guys.
