I`m at a friend of mines house, who owns a 1996 vmax 600..it has psi pipes..

anyway, he just got it recently, and I guess last time it, it burned down..

does anyone have any info on what jets this should have?
We believe the previous owner jetted it way down..aparently too far..

anyway, any thoughts would be greatly apreciated!!!

Hey guys...how about this...what jets came stock in a 1996 vmax 600?
and...did PSI recomend jetting up or down??

Were just trying to figure out if the previous owner got way carried away with the jetting, or what?

both pistons have burned down exaust side edges..and we know it was`nt the gas, cause we both got our gas at the same place..which is my favorite place to get it..never had a problem..

anyway, again, he just got this not long ago..so this was pretty much the first time he`s really had it openned up alot..

thanks in advance for any and all thoughts/suggestions!!

Hey Al, 152.5 mains, 50 pilots, screws out 2 turns, not sure about pipe recomendations but that shuold be the stock info.
 
Im wonder if its GYT pipes he has?

He just said it has twins, but he did`nt know for sure what ones..so i ask if it was PSI, and he said yeah i think that`s it..cause he remembered seeing some letters on the pipes..(the sled was`nt near by to look at, at the time)..

anyway, if that`s the case..does anyone have any info on the GYT pipes on a 96 600 vmax??
