Fella's, for your info:

I attended the Kenora Snowmobile Radar Runs this past weekend. Big thanks to the organizers of the event. It appeared to run flawlessly, and very well organized.

I took my stocker 96 V4MM and my mod 96 V4MM. I entered the 800 Stock, 800 Pro Stock and Open in the 660' snow class. I did not run the 1320' ice track. A few laughs were had when the 20 year old beaters were taken off the trailer......

Ended up with 1st, 1st and 1st for the Sunday event. Not bad for old iron!

If you are close to Kenora Ontario on the Family Day weekend in 2017, I would strongly encourage you to stop by. This was my first radar run event, and I was impressed!
 

I hear ya, not many races around here anymore either. Years ago we had drag races in every town in our region. Insurance and liability concerns have taken over.....too bad. It was always my favourite part of snowmobiling.
 
My stock sled ran 88mph in 660' on snow. Mod ran 89mph, but I suffered a huge traction and rear suspension problem. Hopefully that will be resolved shortly.....
