Tuchodi New member Dec 20, 2011 #2 Best to only use oem belt from Yamaha. other belts can cause clutch wear and poor performance.
4 4x4 Member Dec 20, 2011 #3 Anything other than the expensive stock Yamaha belt will explode before you can empty the fuel tank. A weak secondary spring will cause a Yamaha belt to overheat and blow up.
