I was in Ironwood, MI last weekend and the snow conditions were pretty good. I will be heading out that way agian tomorrow morning for another weekend of riding. I heard that they got another 8" since last weekend. The trails should be sweet! I put on over 400 miles last weekend and the 1996 Vmax-4 ran great. This sled has the M-10 skid in it and this was the first time that I had it out. I couldn't believe the ride! You do lose traction and top end, but the ride more than makes up for it. It is a perfect trail sled, it just needs a bigger gas tank. I can't wait to get out there again.

Guy I work with just got back from Mass City. They did get eight inches on monday I think he said. He said the trails where all pretty decent except for the Bill Nichols grade up to Houghton. He said it was moguls and met about 200 sleds between Mass City and Houghton. All trails North of Houghton where in good shape. Best trail ran north of Gogebic toward Rockland. Grade 8 from Gogebic to Sidnaw was also in good shape with a little studder. Another friend of mine left tonight for Ironwood.
