Question regarding PSI heat shield

One question regarding the above posten mounting instructions for PSI quad pipes,

Step #4 tells you to "install supplied heat shield to belly pan, between exit hole and middle hinge of side panel, rivet to belly pan with one supplied rivet".

I assume this heat shield is some kind of sheet metal that will protect the belly pan / side panel from the silencers...? Does anybody have a picture of this heat shield or even the measurements...?

You are right. This was just a metal plate to protect the belly pan and side panel where the silencers touch the plastic. I make my own. Just measure the area in the belly pan. The size is not critical. Better to make it bigger than too small. 3-4 inches wide by 6-8 inches long will work fine. Use steel. Aluminum will transfer too much heat. Some heat insulation works fine too. Just glue it in place.

Good luck.
