Sc-10-2 Vmax4 with 1" Hacksaw. Will it clear studs ?

I've been searching around here for awhile and I see some of you guys are running 1" tracks with 1.175 or 1.187" studs in your tracks with no issues as long as tunnel protectors are in place for the rear coolers.

Do you guys have the stock skid under those sleds ? Would it make any difference that my sled has an sc-10 under it ? Could I run 144 1.175" studs with no protectors ok with my current setup ?

Main reason I ask is because when I look at my sled compared to stockers the rear does sit much higher. This makes me think that there would be much more clearance and tunnel protectors would not be required for this application.

Tunnel protectors are cheap and easy to install. Heat exchangers are not.

Cheap insurance. Why take the risk.

You will only get more clearence if you lower rear suspension brackets. and even then the clearence in front of tunnel will be the same.
