Any body ever have a bad one??
Had my sled out the other day, pulled the plugs to check and had 1 dead cylinder. #3 was white but sopping wet.
Got my ohm meter out and checked the primary so I went plug cap to plug cap-- got Nothing, showing an open
twisted the plug caps off and the coil was about 5 ohms- which is good.
checked the other side, it read good but I replaced all 4 caps to be safe. Cut about 1/4" off the wires so the new
caps would bite good.
Question is how often do they go bad? And the white plug, I have never seen that and I own 10+ 70's yamaha 2-stroke street bikes, but then again i have never dropped a plug cap on any of them either.
