I know condition would be everything, but just for example, lets say in real good condition, track and all.
also, whats the pro`s and cons between the 600 & 700? and what about the differant years? any changes good or bad? anything to avoid or look for?
Thanks. AL

They had crankshaft problems that needed to be addressed on the 98/99. They were recalled, some were upgraded and some were'nt. Need to be sure the upgrade was done if it was either of those two years. 2000 and up the design had changed and the cranks were no longer an issue

Al,

Here's a link to the NADA price guide for sleds.

Like Sinner said they had crank problems in 98/99. If your looking at one your dealer might be willing to run the VIN for you and tell you if the crank was updated.

Between the 600/700. They are almost exactly the same weight, so there really isn't any advantadge to the 600.

The 2002 had DCS, detonation sensor, which is a nice option to have.

I recently bid on a 2002 SRX on ebay that was in Michigan but wasn't successful.

2000 /2002 WERE BEST SRX,s. MOST HP, BETTER SUSPENSION TRAVEL, ALOT OF SMALL THINGS TOO LIGHT,EN THEM UP, ( gears, brake rotor, rare earth mag for new large head lite etc.). 98 WAS FIRST YEAR, THERE WAS A CRANK RECALL. 2002 SEEMS TOO BE MOST DESIREABLE VALUE WISE. PROBLEY SAME REASON 97 VMAX 4 IS !! 3:16 (tony)

cool, thanks for all the info guys, just the kind of info I was looking for!!
