Today I paid the 10 euro fee for that test run. Distance 1000 meters, where the speed is measured from the last 100 meters. There will be turbo-Yamahas, PSI 995 Polaris sleds and other big dogs too. Also all the new ´06 sleds will be there to battle it out.

So, samueljackson, I and Reimond will be there. Not bad , 3 out of 4 vmax4.com finnish members will be there!

LOOONG day. woke up 0415 and still here...

Went all stock for today. And I mean everything was stock!

Did 168,22 kmh, twice. LOL (104.3904 MPH)

Track was very slippery. Almost all of the track was bare ice, so I spun. Like all the others, since we don´t use studs here...

SO, Those were todays results. TURBO RX was the fastest. PSI and crank shop sleds ran only for 100 meters. because of the track condition and the lenght of the track. Those sleds are for 660 ft drags only.

Speeds were measured by radar and by as av. speed from the last 100 meters.

On stock class the new RX sp (Apex RTX) ruled the day by putting out 171,43 kmh (106.25 mph). I was really close at 168,22 kmh twice. I was tied with one F7 and with one 1000 renegade. 1000 Ski-Doo´s were really lame. I certaily expected to see more from them.

SRV was a real shock for some of those 600cc riders. 140,08 kmh is great for that distance and track surface. 22 years old and running with the best of them!

IKE, MAN DUDE YOUR FLYING, AND WITHOUT STUDS!! UNREAL. DUDE, WHO CLUTCH SET-UP YOU RUNNING lol !!!!!!!! 3:16 (tony)

:agree: with Tony just seen the video Wow you were kicking ass down the track!

I can't beleive you guys don't run with studs. I think for safety reasons it would be a rule to have them on rather than off.

Way to go IKE!!!.. :super: Good to see the mighty Vmax is still as strong as any new sled on the market.:bottom: Quite a testament for a 10 year old sled!!

Studs :

Here only some people use studs, but the majority does not since we have good snow conditions. Studs are not allowed on snowcross or on enduro racing.

And that track at Muhos was supposed to be hard pack snow, but after the weather changed it melted... BUT after the runs yeaterday, I was really thinking of studding my track. When you´re going that fast on ice, and still spinning... Makes you think.

Funny thing was when we showed up there, some of the other racers were quite amused. LOL

But after the first run, opinions were changed. Engine sound of my Vmax4 was something that most of the crowd haven´t ever heard. Some kid came to my spot on at the pitlane and told that "red sled sounded like a F1 car on full speed!" Can´t beat that!
