Carb Bog ?

well raced yesterday and still had bog, but driver really sucked. First race let out at first blocks and still broke out that will never happen agine. 2nd round dead late on tree.

Ordering q-8 nozzles and test in 10 days.

Also what gear combo should I be running for 1/4 mile. I need to pull my cover and see what I am. I am thinking 24/37 but not sure.

Got my jet tubes today, I will put them in sometine this weekend. do I set the clip at #4 for 4600ft to try first.

I would think stock might be good for 1/4 mile..

and as far as clips, you are meaning 4th slot from the bottom right? in other words leaning it out.....(Lowering the needle due to lack of oxy up there)....either way, I`m not sure what the going rate is when it comes to the clips at that altitude?

your saying "richer" for higher altitude?????

the higher ya go, the less oxy there is...so to maintain a given air/fuel ratio, you need to deliver less fuel to match less air your dealing with...no?

I always jet fat to lean..Yea he is at some elevation but he is getting a mean lean bog...
