You can run a 750, 33 tooth gear with a 15-wide or 17-wide chain, we've done it with Turbo sled and no issues, so I wouldn't be bothered to use a 750 gear with a wider chain on a stock or improved Vmax-4. Just a rule, always check to make sure your gears fully mesh with the chain by rotating them, some of the Vmax-4 gears/chains will not work together.

Thanks Guys, a couple of questions for ya;

lf i use a 17mm wide drive sprocket on my 93 instead of the 20mm wide will i have to change the spacers as i will now have 3mm of extra slack?

ls the 33 tooth 750 driven sprocket the same width as a 800 'stock' sprocket?

lf they arent, do i have to change the spacer?

I cant speak for a 33 but I used '95 gears(24-37) with '93 spacers in my sled. The actual width at the collar is the same for both gears 17mm and 20mm.

I agree with Rustman...used same collars regardless of swap!
